Nuria Iturrioz Servera
I am passionate about sport, I consider myself very active and competitive.
Competitiveness has developed my winning side.
All my life I have been passionate about sports: tennis, soccer, swimming... at the age of 12 I decided to follow my sporting path only with golf, thanks to my coach who pushed me to it. At the age of 14 my life moved to Madrid, for the next 5 years, at the CAR (Centro de Alto Rendimiento). There I grew, learned and formed myself as a person, accumulating tournaments and trophies. The death of my father was a big loss, certainly the most complicated situation I have had to live. Everything I am now, I owe it to his effort and his vision to get me involved in golf when I was only 6 years old. Another decision in my life was not to go to the U.S. to pursue a college degree, since my goal was to become a professional soon. My future is truncated with a pancreatitis that totally limits me from going to the 2nd phase of the qualifiers to compete to Professional Golf League having passed the first phase a month earlier. In 2016, after qualifying in December in the LET, my adventure begins without forgetting my main goal, to be one of the best in the LPGA. I am still pursuing my main goal, to be the best golfer in the world, I would also like to emphasize my focus on qualifying for the Solheim Cup and the Olympics.
