Nuria Iturrioz Servera
I am passionate about sport, I consider myself very active and competitive.
Competitiveness has developed my winning side.
At the age of 14 my life moved to Madrid, for the next 5 years, at the CAR (Centro de Alto Rendimiento). There I grew, learned and formed myself as a person, accumulating tournaments and trophies.
The death of my father was a great loss, certainly the most complicated situation I have ever had to live through. Everything I am now, I owe to his effort and his vision to get me involved in golf at the age of 6 years old.
Another decision in my life was not to go to the USA to pursue a university degree, as my goal was to turn professional soon. My future was cut short with a pancreatitis that totally limited me from going to the 2nd phase of the qualifiers to compete in the Professional Golf League having passed the first phase a month earlier.
In 2016, after qualifying for the LET in December, my adventure begins without forgetting my main goal, to be one of the best on the LPGA.
I am still pursuing my main goal, to be the best golfer in the world, although I would also like to emphasise my focus on qualifying for the Solheim Cup and the Olympics.
